We Can Hardly Wait
A Little of This, and a Little of That
Somewhere Over the Rainbow is now a member of the Fort Davis Chamber of Commerce. We are so pleased, and so very excited to have our Grand Opening Celebration and ribbon cutting scheduled for Saturday June 19th at 4:00 pm. We hope everyone will stop by and get to know us better. We will be serving snacks and drinks, and there will be door prizes (We’ll announce these next week.)
The store is really starting to come together. We have new (and fun) stock coming in almost every day. If you are looking for a gift for someone, or yourself, we hope you’ll think of us. We’ve got a very cool rack of Greeting Cards for lots of occasions (or none at all), and designer wrapping paper as well. For the nature lovers, we still have a very nice assortment of hummingbird and bird feeders, plant pots and terrarium kits. And for the eco minded, we have some nice and organic Health and Beauty products. From bamboo toothbrushes to some zinc based sunscreens. These are products that are kinder to the environment, and kinder to our bodies. We’ve got some Green home essentials as well, and expect to have more in the future.
And Speaking of the Future...
For everyone who has inquired about our intent to open a small design and print shop as well. Things are moving along. We’ve got two brand new Printers, a very large cutter, and the Heat Press just came this week.
While it will still be a while before Gabriel and Gaia get set up, progress is finally happening. They plan to do tee shirts and totes, their own line of greeting cards, and probably will do hats and maybe mugs down the road. We will be offering design work or custom printing as they get up to speed, and likely signs and graphics for businesses as well.
We will offer help and assistance with most basic printing needs as well. If you have questions, bring them to us. If we don’t know the answer, we will try to find out. I will certainly keep everyone posted as we get closer to making this particular dream a reality.
Stay Posted. Till next time… We’re
